The Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in a Windsor Creek Labradoodle puppy!
Step # 1: Complete the Puppy Application.
Our Refund Policy: If we cannot provide you with a puppy for some reason on our end, then yes, we will refund your puppy reservation fee/deposit. If you were on our list having sent us a confirming deposit, and then change your mind for any reason, then no. We turn away many potential puppy families when we have received deposits which confirm a litter is reserved. When buyers change their mind, we have to reopen the litter and start advertising again.
Australian Labradoodle Cost:
All puppies are priced at $3500.00 + 6% PA state sales tax. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit to confirm our reserving a puppy for you, will be applied to the price of the puppy. When puppies are a week old, we require payment of $1500.00 with the final payment of $1710.00 due when the puppies are 4 weeks of age. Payment is personal check only and we will email you our address details. Windsor Creek Labradoodles reserves the right, at any time during the purchase process, to refuse sale of the puppy, if we determine the purchase is not a good fit for the family and/or the puppy.
Thorough, comprehensive health testing is done on all our breeding dogs as per ALAA criteria (OFA hips/elbows, CERF Eye Examinations, Australian Labradoodle specific Genetic Panel Profiling, Heart Examination and DNA Profiling).
Australian Labradoodle Puppy Matching Process:
We evaluate and assign puppies to their forever families at the 6-7 week mark. Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. Our process of selection is very important to us and is done with many specific criteria in mind. We want to be sure we are making the best decision possible for both family and puppy.
Our goal is to meet all your expectations and preferences of course when we do the selection process. However, temperament of a puppy best suited for a family is a key factor in our final decision. We have been following this process for years now and it works so well. Our families trust our decision and are confident and very happy with the puppy we choose for them!
Now comes the fun stuff and the day our families really look forward to! When the puppy selection has been done, we will email you a photo of your adorable new puppy as well as a little biography of the puppy telling you all about him/her and why we felt this particular puppy was a great fit for your family. Next to Gotcha Day, it’s the most exciting of days in our journey with you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. All our puppies are microchipped prior to them going to their forever homes.
Microchips contain a specific number, are about the size of a grain of rice, and are inserted under the skin superficially between the shoulder blades of puppies. The puppies tolerate the insertion very well and we liken it to their vaccinations. It is a permanent form of identification and a very important safety measure for your puppy. This is not a GPS kind of system. You will be given information at puppy pick up for you to register your puppy via their microchip in a national data base as soon as possible. A tag containing their unique ID number will be included that should be placed on any collar of the puppy for their lifetime. Should your puppy become lost, folks finding them will see they are microchipped by the tag which contains the data base phone number, and/or have the puppy‘s microchip scanned in a vet’s office or such (they are scanned much like items in the grocery stores) and this will connect your puppy to you as their owner as you will have had registered your contact information in the data base.
We do not ship our puppies but require you to pick up your puppy at our home. Depending on your circumstances, you may want to consider flying to us to pick up your puppy and then flying home with your new fur baby in the cabin with you as a carry on. Just let us know what you may need and we’ll do our best to help coordinate planning.
We do welcome visits with us if you have an approved puppy application with us, a deposit has been placed and we are between litters of puppies. You will have an opportunity to meet us at our home and see a puppy parent for a one-half hour visit meet and greet. You will be asked to kindly remove your shoes at the door, wash your hands and not visit any kennel or interact with other dogs prior to the day of your visit here with us. We also follow any COVID restrictions that would be in place at the time. When we are caring for a litter of young puppies here, we will NOT allow visitors in order to best protect the health of our puppies. We thank you for understanding and respecting our policy.
"All you need is love and a puppy."
